The Story Exchange is a space for travellers to capture, preserve, and share their Newfoundland and Labrador experiences by creating a personalized digital storybook filled with photos and memories.
To add photos, simply drag them into the photo section or click to upload from your files. You can include up to 6 images per page, and each must be under 10 MB. Want to include more? Just click “Add pages” to keep building your story.
Photos are automatically arranged, sized, and cropped to fit the page layout. You can rearrange them by dragging and dropping on desktop, or tapping to swap on mobile. Adding or removing images can change the layout, so feel free to experiment – some photos may look better in certain spots. If you’ve added only one photo to a page, you can make it full-screen using the arrow icon.
At the moment, only photos can be added to your book.
You can edit your book at any time before clicking “I’m finished my book.” Use the arrows to flip through and update pages, and click the link beneath the title to edit your cover. Once you click “I’m finished my book,” no further changes can be made through the editor. If you notice a mistake after finishing, reach out to us at WelcomeDesk@newfoundlandlabrador.com – we’re happy to help.
Not at this time. Your book is designed for digital viewing and sharing only.
Once your book is complete, you’ll see options to share it via Facebook, Twitter, email, or by copying a direct link.
Email us at WelcomeDesk@newfoundlandlabrador.com with your profile name and book title. We’ll delete your book and all associated data within 72 hours.
The book builder works best with a modern browser. On desktop, you can update your browser at outdatedbrowser.com. On mobile, check your device for system updates.
